NGO Analytics

    Privacy Policy

    Effective date: August 29, 2026

    Who we are

NGO Analytics operates the public website at https://ngoanalytics.com and two products: Grant Ops (the grantseeker operating system) and Fiscal Sponsor OS (the sponsor and filing workspace). The products use separate logins — the same company, not the same session.

This policy covers the public website and both products. It applies to information we collect when you browse the site, join a waitlist or newsletter, contact us, post in the community, or use the products.

    What we collect

    • Account information — your email address and name when you sign up for Grant Ops or Fiscal Sponsor OS.
    • Organization and workspace data — organization name, size, and the workspace details you enter.
    • Product content — grant records, documents, redlines, budgets, and filing or workpaper data you upload or create in the products.
    • Newsletter email — your email address if you subscribe to the newsletter or a waitlist.
    • Contact-form messages — what you send us through contact or consulting forms.
    • Community posts — content you publish in forums, Q&A, or chat.
    • Web logs and first-party analytics — page views, outbound link clicks, referrer, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address. We also keep standard server logs for security.

    How we use it

    • Operate the website and the products.
    • Authenticate users and manage accounts across the two separate logins.
    • Send transactional email (account, security, and service notices).
    • Send the newsletter and digests if you subscribed — you can unsubscribe anytime.
    • Understand which content is useful so we can improve the site and products.
    • Prevent abuse, detect bots, and keep accounts and data secure.

We do not sell personal data.

    Sharing

We share personal data only with the service providers needed to run the site and products, or when the law requires it:

    • Infrastructure, hosting, authentication, and database providers.
    • Email delivery providers, when we use them to send transactional or newsletter email.
    • Disclosure when required by law or legal process.

We do not sell or share personal data with advertisers.

    Cookies and analytics

We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in, plus first-party analytics to count page views and link clicks. We do not claim to run third-party advertising networks on this site; if that ever changes, we will update this page.

    Retention

We keep personal data while your account is active, and for a reasonable period after deletion for backups, fraud prevention, and legal or accounting obligations. Waitlist and newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

    Your rights

    You can ask us to:

    • Access the personal data we hold about you.
    • Correct data that is inaccurate.
    • Delete your personal data.
    • Unsubscribe from newsletter or digest email.

Email privacy@ngoanalytics.com and we will respond.

    Children

This site and the products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

    Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site and products change. The current version always lives at https://ngoanalytics.com/privacy. For details on how we secure customer data and our SOC 2 preparation, see https://ngoanalytics.com/security.
